Sono arrivata alla tv per caso e penso non dimenticherò mai la paura del primo giorno sul set di Paint your Life, che invece è diventata una delle esperienze più divertenti della mia vita!
Accantonata momentaneamente la decoratrice professionista, mi sono ritrovata su una giostra colorata e velocissima.
Addio pazienza e ore passate su pochi centimetri di tela o davanti ad un complesso trompe l’oeil. Benvenuti tempi strettissimi, lavoro di squadra, tante persone intorno tra autrici, cameramen , registi, scenografi, attrezzisti geniali e decoratrici instancabili. Dopo Paint your Life è arrivato Com’è fatto e poi Paint on the road, Paint your day e Paint your day 4 teens .
Ho usato km di nastro di carta adesiva, migliaia di pennelli, chili di vernice, colla a caldo naturalmente, ma anche oggetti che mai avrei pensato prima di adoperare per il bricolage, come cestelli della lavatrice o tira fumo dei comignoli. Insieme, abbiamo tirato fuori moltissime idee e, forse, siamo riusciti a farvi vedere che il fai da te è alla portata di tutti !

I could say I started doing television by accident and I think I will never forget the fear on the first day on Paint your Life set .
Surprisingly it became one of the funniest experiences of my life! Having temporarily set aside the professional decorator, I found myself on a colorful and very fast carousel. Goodbye patience and hours spent on a few centimeters of canvas or in front of a complex tromp l’oeil!
Tight deadlines, teamwork, lots of people around including authors, cameramen, directors, set designers, brilliant toolmakers and tireless decorators. After Paint your Life came How it’s made and then Paint on the road, Paint your day and Paint your day 4 teens.
I used km of adhesive masking tape, thousands of brushes, kilos of paint, hot glue of course, but also objects that I would never have thought of using for DIY before, such as washing machine drums or chimney flues. Together, we have come up with many ideas and, perhaps, we have managed to prove that DIY is within everyone’s reach!
